XI Liceum Ogólnokształcące w Krakowie

is a comprehensive secondary school in Krakow. The school takes four years to complete and the graduates take a state examination to be admitted to various universities. Each class has extended English and two other subject at the extended level: literature, maths, IT, biology, chemistry, geography, foreign languages, civics or history. The students are aged 15 to 19. The school is famous for a friendly and supportive atmosphere, charity activities, an annual theatre festival and a so called "Academic Night", which is one evening in a year when teams of students compete to solve escape rooms prepared by teachers in various subjects.

Krakow - the Royal City

Krakow used to be the second capital of Poland from the 11th century until 1795. The city itself is 800 years old. There are a lot of historical buildings (such as the Wawel Castle or St. Mary’s Basilica) in this city and millions of tourists visit every year.
